Script for the main task

We've finally come up with our script for the main task. The script was well thought out with ideas and improvements from all of us, and we feel the dialogue will set the scene well. Again using our research we decided not to have too much dialogue as we're going to try and make it tense and gripping like other action-thrillers. I feel that the dialogue present however definitely sets the stereotype for the typical modern gangster.

Here is our script:

Within the opening scene we see a two shot of Sunny and Tyler walking with the camera behind on them whilst they are having a conversation until the point where the camera shot changes and Tyler notices Evano in the park and calls Sunny to notify his attention of this and then a certain flashback will occur in which the next shot after this flashback will signify Evano’s presence and when Evano notices both Sunny and Tyler another flashback will occur then the chase scene begins.

Characters –

Sunny – Tony

Tyler – Vinny

Evano – Johnny

Opening conversation between Sunny and Tyler –

Sunny: Alright I’ve got those bags coming in you gonna’ be able to sort that shit out for me?

Tyler: Yeah just name the dates, name the times.. That sort of thing.

Sunny: Well preferably by Monday should be great, so if you can do that for me great man Vinny great man. Welcome to the team, glad to have you here.

Tyler: Hey Tony?

Sunny: What’s up Vinny?

Tyler: Isn’t that the Johnny kid you was on about?

*FLASHBACK*

Sunny: Yeah that’s him.. that’s him!

Next shot to signify who Evano is within the film and when he notices Sunny and Tyler there will be an Extreme Close Up to cause tension and enhance what is going to happen next.

*FLASHBACK*

Sunny: Oi! I knew I would find you someday!

Evano slowly starts to move before running off to begin the chase and the soundtrack will slowly drop.

Sunny: Vinny! Get him!

No more dialogue until Evano takes a different route within the chase.

Tyler: Tony, go that way!

Sunny falls over to take an injury whilst chasing Evano on his different route then Vinny stops to check if he is okay and ask where Evano is.

Tyler: Tony you okay?! Where did Johnny go I’ll catch him up!

Sunny: He went that way go get him!

Chase continues throughout the park until a dead end and until Tyler takes a different route to gain ground on Evano and does so the film ends with an Extreme Long Shot of Evano and Tyler with a build of suspense and this will slowly fade out.

This is all we have for now on the script and will continue to make changes to it where we feel necessary.
